Otowa offers a sweeter and deeper umami flavor and a gorgeously rich mouthfeel. It also produces a more viscous brew as compared with Kabusecha Takagamine. It is made of leaves and stems of Imperial-quality GYOKURO, which is green tea that has been shaded for about a month to bring out maximum umami. The stems give this tea an even sweeter and richer umami!
